Good for brainstorming

I got the annual Pro subscription a few weeks ago and have been using the AI whiteboard a bunch. It's pretty cool for just throwing ideas out there and seeing what sticks. The multi-model chat is handy too, saves me jumping between different sites. Definitely made my work a bit easier.

Good value on annual plan

I was looking for a better way to manage my AI tools without spending a fortune, so I opted for the annual Pro subscription. The upfront cost was a bit more, but the 20% discount compared to monthly billing made it worth it. I've used the AI mind mapping feature a few times now, and it works well. For the price, I feel like I'm getting a lot of functionality that would cost more if I used separate services. It was a good buy for what I needed.

Decent tool, some room to grow

I signed up for the Max subscription about a month back, mainly for the DeepSeek integration and more API credits. The canvas-based AI is pretty powerful for visualizing workflows, and having GPT-4o in the same spot is a huge plus. My only minor gripe is that sometimes the image generation feature can be a little slow to process, especially with more complex prompts. Overall though, it's a solid platform and I'm seeing a lot of potential here for my projects. Delivery was instant since it's a digital product, so no issues there.

What's the difference between the Pro and Max plans? The website is a bit vague on specifics for a casual user like me.

A Aaron Hernandez 2 weeks ago
Pro is good for most solo users, gives you a solid amount of models and canvas space. Max is for heavier users, I think it has higher limits on everything and maybe some advanced features for teams.

Basically, Max gives you more of everything – more credits, more advanced models, bigger canvases, and probably better support for collaborative features. Pro is the standard workhorse plan.

How do Flowith credits work? Do they reset every month or are they like a pool that you can draw from until they run out?

W William Perez 3 weeks ago
They're a pool, as in, you buy them and use them. They don't expire super fast, afaik. Good for when you have a heavy month.

My understanding is they're like a top-up system. You buy credits and they get used up based on your activity, mostly LLM calls. They don't vanish at the end of the billing cycle, which is nice.

Thinking about getting Flowith for my startup team, like 5 of us. Does anyone know if they have special pricing for teams or if we just all get individual subscriptions?

N Nathan Wright 3 weeks ago
Yeah, they totally do team plans. I saw it mentioned somewhere on their site when I was checking out the Max subscription.

They have a team workspace option, which I think is different than just 5 individual accounts. You should check their pricing page; it probably breaks it down.

Is Flowith better than Perplexity for research? I do a lot of deep dives and need something that can handle complex queries without giving me generic summaries.

K Kevin A. 1 month ago
From my experience, Flowith's canvas and being able to combine different LLMs really helps with research. Perplexity is good for quick answers but Flowith lets you build out the thought process more visually.

I'd say for actual deep work and seeing the connections, Flowith edges it out. Perplexity is more like a super-powered search engine, Flowith is more about building out the knowledge.

Trying to sign up, but wondering if there's a way to get a discount? Like a promo code or something for new users?

J Josh Sanchez 3 weeks ago
They mostly do referral credits. If you know someone who uses it, they can send you a link and you both get some credits.

I think sometimes they have short-term promo codes, especially around holiday sales. But the most consistent way is the annual discount or getting referred.
